A happy family of five posing on a sunny beach with cliffs in the background.

It’s my belief that by understanding the science behind sleep, setting age-appropriate boundaries, and holding realistic expectations for our children, we can transform our relationship with sleep in a positive and sustainable way.

Back in 2016 (when our oldest was just a few months old), we were starting our days anywhere between 4 and 5 AM, trying to function on minimal sleep, and all of us were cranky by the time dinner rolled around. Bath time was anything but relaxing, bedtime didn’t feel predictable or peaceful, and our nights were just as draining as our days. Every day felt like I was just trying to make it to the next stretch of sleep, and I was convinced that “this was just my life now.”

It wasn’t until 2018, when we were pregnant with baby #2 and still struggling, that I decided we all deserved better—and I dove into the world of sleep.

You are the expert when it comes to your child. My role is to support you with sleep science education, personalized plans, and hands-on guidance so you feel more confident and empowered in choosing and implementing strategies that truly fit your family.

Sustainable sleep & a secure attachment: I believe we can have both.

My approach is grounded in the belief that families don’t have to choose between meeting their child’s emotional needs and getting the rest they need to function and thrive. When we understand development, set age-appropriate expectations, and respond with consistency and connection, we can build sleep habits that feel supportive for both parent and child.

While my experience in the early childhood education field has given me an in-depth understanding of how respectfully setting limits and boundaries can positively support a child’s sense of security and self, my educational background in Behavioral Science (Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology) has shaped my philosophy to be deeply connection- and relationship-based. I believe that acknowledging the role attachment plays in the process of reframing a child’s relationship with sleep is key to fostering true security.

I’ve loved being able to combine these perspectives with the most up-to-date research in sleep science to equip parents with the tools they need to support healthy sleep while honoring connection. My goal is to help families feel confident, informed, and supported as they move toward more restful and sustainable sleep.
